Swimming

We are going to the pool every Monday and Tuesday for 5 weeks. We are lucky to work in small groups with swimming instructors from the pool. We all work at different levels and today some of us got to go in the big pool.

 

St Patrick's Day Fun

Today is St Patrick's day and we got to learn some new jump jam moves, go on a leprechaun hunt and enjoy free sausages for lunch. 

Volcano Fun

Today we worked with Mrs Anderson and made a volcano. Maddison found out that some volcano's have flat tops. Billie learned that they can make the ground shake and some volcano's are extinct. Sophie the lava is really, really hot and that there are heaps of volcano's on earth. Jake found out there is a volcano on Mars. 

Lenten Promises

We have been learning about Lent and how it is a special time lasting 40 days.  Lent is a time when we can try and live more like Jesus. We talked about this in class and decided we can try and be more caring, offer encouragement to others and use kind words. We also made some Lenten Promises and hope that Mum and Dad will help us work on these over the season of Lent.
